Learning the art of the Italian Pastry

The Pastry Sciences and Technologies Course has the main goal of supplying a high preparation level on Italian pastry at 360°, starting from the bases.

The course in Pastry Sciences and Technologies has the objective of providing a high-level preparation on the Italian pastry at 360°, starting from the foundations. The course deals with all the facets of the Italian pastry, with a strong practical component. Laboratory pastry, restaurant desserts, and specific topics such as chocolate, gelato and leavened products.

The course is held in Italian language. There is the possibility for foreign students to request the interpreter service, at an additional cost.

Training program

Next dates 11 March 2024 | 2 September 2024

The training program consists in:
Institute: 4 months of classes at the Academy – full time, 5 days a week
Internship: 4 months in selected and accredited laboratories, restaurants, or hotels.

At the end of the course, you will receive:

  • IFSE Certificate for the Superior Course in Haute Italian Cuisine with international validity
  • ITA0039 Certification "Ambassador of Italian Cuisine" in defense against counterfeiting and protection of Made in Italy
  • Certificate for Occupational Safety Dlgs. 81/08
  • Certificate from accredited industry associations

Accommodation for students

IFSE has accommodation solutions, just a few metres from the school, of different types, capable of meeting the needs of all students. There is the possibility of staying in a double, triple or quadruple room solution, shared with other students on the course, or in a single room.

Alternatively, it is possible to stay in the centre of Turin for those who want to have a different experience, experience a great city and discover its beauty.

The cost of the course is € 9,100.00 (VAT exempt art.10),
+ Enrollment fee: € 450.00 to be paid according to the instalments described below:
• Deposit to confirm registration: 20% of the total price
• Balance by the start date of the course

Do courses take place in-person?

Yes, our courses take place in-person involve mostly hands-on activities in order to give our students the possibility to acquire high level practical competences to be prepared to face the working world in conscious way.

Will I find a job after the courses?

The percentage of employment of our students after the course is extremely high: more than 90% of our students find a job within a few months after the end of the formative training in IFSE.

How do payments work?

There is the possibility to finance the cost of the course. Our offices will be happy to give all the details regarding the payment solutions.

What kind of certification will I receive at the end of the course?

Ours is a certificated Academy, the only one to have received a recognition of Italian Excellence at the General Secretariat of the Italian Republic. At the end of the course, you will obtain the IFSE Certificate with international validity, the Certificate of the Association of the category that patronizes IFSE courses, the HACCP Certificate and the Certificate for Occupational Safety Dlgs. 81/08.

Are there any requirements to join the course?

The formative courses start from the foundations, therefore there are no requirements requested for the participation in the courses (obligatory scholastic requirements fulfilled).

Are there any planned Open Days to visit the Institute?

Every day is an open day in IFSE: our choice is to welcome you through individual appointments where, in addition to the visit of the Institute, you’ll be able to have an individual interview to analyze your needs and answer specific doubts and questions.
